What creatures we be.

The contrast between innocence and consequence gives the piece its force.

Lines like

“Was that a hawk / or a fighter jet?”

and

“Smoke choked the birds, so they couldn’t tweet.”

carry both clarity and restraint which reinforces the message. A very powerful piece.

Brilliant imagery and absolutely love the concept Mila ♥️

One that refuses to stay innocent, turning collapse into something chillingly familiar.

Chills! I love the choice of a cheerful, children's folk song sound to juxtapose to the apocalyptic horrors. Absolutely brilliant!

Thank you. So glad it resonated.

Mila this is absolutely STUNNING! I’m sooo impressed. Love this so much! The entire piece is vivid, real, striking. The music? Yes, yes girl. That’s the touch. The irony and the truth all in one. An experience. Beautifully done! Bravo 👏

Loved it! The rhythm and tune accompanying it made it feel light and fresh…Hope and goodness throughout…I read other reviews, I must be missing something because it made me happy…

The tune is peppy but the reality is not so much.

🤣😥😥 Wow... OMG!! Brilliant, just brilliant. I absolutely loved the contrast between the sweet, catchy melody and the stark truth. Extremely well done.👏👏

A good lesson in beautifully crafted words that echo the sorrow many of us feel.

When the bombs drop this is the song I'll be listening to on my headphones.

Fantastic image of how all this progress seems to ultimately be taking us backwards.

Not all change is good, right?

Oh heck no. I do love that there are people out there working for the right kind of change… like you.

Yeah it’s like playful…but also not.

The sarcasm and satire had me laughing as Mother Goose watched the atom bombs drop.

Truly one I'll never see again.

"We focus so much on 'advancement' that we forget what we are trading away in the process. I hope this rhyme serves as a reminder to look up and appreciate the stars while we still can.
